Our Country (Bangladesh)

The name of our country is Bangladesh . It is in south Asia . It became independent in 1971. It is a democratic country .

Bagladesh is a small country . its land  area is 1.47,570 square kilometres . it is surrounded by India in three  sides . The Bay of Bengal is in the  south . Its population is 15 crore . Bangladesh is mainly an agricultural country. Its climate is good for different types of crops .  The  main crops of Bagladesh are rice , jute, sugarcane , wheat,  pulse,  potato , Jackfruit,  mango, banana, pine-apple,  guava, etc are the main fruits of it .  

Bangladesh is a riverine country . It has many large and small rivers . The main rivers are the  Padma, the Meghna, the Jamuna, the  Karnaphuli, etc. 

Bangladesh is a very beautiful country . There are many beautiful and historical to nice places here. I am proun of my country .
